Apart from making
paintings while doing unimaginable stunts, Singh has also discovered several
new techniques in art of painting. The one that is most admired is called
"Centrism", where he makes a painting on fast spinning canvas. The paintings
appear to radiate a striking energy and force, moving from the center of the
canvas to the outside. Describing this style of paintings in words does a
great injustice to them. One has to see them to understand the depth of these
paintings. Though the paintings are basically geometric, Singh also creates
still life. Any number of wonders can be created on the canvas. To him the
spinning canvas symbolizes the circle of life in which we live. And
swinging motion of the canvas helps him to create aftermath of a
…contemporary. This technique
of painting is called centrism. Some centrism paintings appear as abstract
whirl winds of color and many others are painted as representational art using
the same technique.
"drawing straight lines, triangle, circles, or
any other geometrical shape on a moving canvas is a challenge but now it
is easy after ten years of practice, said the father of Centrism in a short
interview I had with him".
