Singhs cage hanging from the tree
When Singh was asked about how sitting in a
cage represents freedom, he replied that to truly understand freedom one must
first be without it.
06/20/2005
About the Event: Singh is known for making paintings
while doing electrifying stunts. He created several paintings while standing on
a self-erected thirty foot tall pole this year at Milham Park. This time he will
cage himself in the air to craft thirty paintings symbolizing the value of
freedom. He will perform thirty stunts this year. All the artworks will be
exhibited locally and internationally. This is the fifth stunt in the series,
which has included running on a fence and on top of a moving vehicle while
painting. Singh hopes to get into the Guinness Book of World Records and Ripley
’ s Believe It Or Not Museum as the world ’ s first artist to make paintings
while parallel processing [multi-tasking at 100% efficiency].

Artist Singh was full of energy on the first day and continued
painting while sitting in the cage. Second day was more exhausting since it was
very hot outside. Third day the police showed up and asked Singh to move back
from the city property to his own. Singh came down to reset the entire
setup. He continued his mission with great pride. Hunger and dehydration

He suffered mild fever . Artist Singh created more than 40 paintings and drawing
